Dr. Melanie Rope

Dr Mel has been part of the Little Critters team since we opened in Bundamba in 2014.

She has over 20 years of experience as a Veterinary Surgeon, having graduated in 1999 from the University of Queensland with Second Class Honours. Dr Mel has worked in both small and mixed practices, both around Australia and in the UK, and is proficient in most areas of large animal work.

However, over the past 10 or so years she has chosen to focus on small animals and is passionate about providing highly personalised continuity of care to her patients and clients.

In her spare time Dr Mel enjoys spending time with her husband, their 2 boys and their furbabies; Will, Ari, Jimmy and new addition Scout (who you are likely to find hanging out at the clinic, waiting for home time!).
